In celebration of BABY-G’s 25th anniversary Casio is collaborating with Pikachu on a special edition BABY-G inspired by Pikachu, the 25th Pokémon in the Pokédex.
Longtime fans of the Pokémon video game franchise will enjoy the distinctive details on the BABY-G watch, which incorporates the style of the original Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue video games released in 1996 in a fun and ingenious way.
The commemorative numbers “0:25” are printed on the band loop, while the matte black watch band is decorated with neon, polygon-style Pikachu lightning marks and Poké Balls. The design of the dial references the original game screen, a nod to Pokémon’s 90’s origins. A familiar yellow polygon-style Pikachu appears when the EL backlight is turned on, while Pikachu’s silhouette can be discovered etched on the case back.
