Tokyo, November 30, 2018 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced the release of the GA-110FRG, a new collaboration model with rapper A$AP Ferg of the Harlem, New York-based hip hop collective A$AP Mob.

A$AP Ferg is a big G-SHOCK fan and performed at the G-SHOCK 35th Anniversary Celebration held last year in New York. Now, G-SHOCK and A$AP Ferg have at last collaborated to create a new watch.

The GA-110FRG is based on the globally popular GA-110. This new special model incorporates the creative input of A$AP Ferg, a leading musical artist with a huge following in the global rap scene.

The GA-110FRG features a clear semi-transparent body and band, with multi-color accents of blue, red and yellow on the face that give the watch an upscale yet casual look. The case back and strap keeper are imprinted with the Ferg logo, for a cool street-wise look.

The GA-110FRG with its many detailed touches comes in special packaging inspired by a jewelry box. The box is vivid red on the outside and yellow on the inside, complementing this very special watch.

■A$AP Ferg

A$AP Ferg has charted a lot of territory over the last five years: since rising to the top of the hip-hop crop with A$AP Mob, he’s released two solo albums that have showcased an artist unafraid to take his craft to thrilling new places. His most recent release, Still Striving in August 2017, was no different. His single “Plain Jane” from Still Striving went double platinum in the US and has catapulted the rapper into the mainstream.
