G-SHOCK SESSIONS PRESENTS: VIBBAR
Having worked with some of the most notable names across the scene, such as JME, Big Narstie, Ms and Banks, VIBBAR have sold out headline shows across the capital, with surprise guest appearances from music heavyweights including Boy Better Know. As a G-Shock Sessions exclusive VIBBAR will perform songs from their latest EP, ‘You Should Be Here’, which features a host of notable artists and collaborators, including Sam Wise, Louis Rei (WSTRN) and Kojey Radical.
G-SHOCK SESSIONS PRESENTS: JAY ELECTRONICA
From leaving his home of New Orleans at the age of 19 in pursuit of a career in rap; travelling across America - many times experiencing homelessness; releasing a breakthrough single in 2009 only to disappear for the spotlight for almost a decade; Jay Electronica’s origin story is steeped in a lifetime of trails, tribulations and obstacles, many of which he overcame to become one of the most celebrated rap artists of his time. In a rare discussion, we hear about the journey to the debut Written Testament album; talk about the process of recording a debut album in 40 days and 40 nights; working with Jay-Z and what it was like getting the call from Kanye West to collaborate on “Donda”.

This exclusive live-stream event came directly from our Carnaby St store and saw BBC Radio DJ and Future Bounce label founder Jamz Supernova curate an exceptional and inspiring line-up set to provide the young, creative DIY Generation with advice and guidance from industry vets, followed by an exclusive live performance from Future Bounce artist SOLA.
